Using Quik Budget With Account Managers

Quik Budget can work with any account manager that supports the Financial Posting Interface. A list of account managers that support FPI is provided below. In most cases, FPI is built right into the account manager but some venders distribute their FPI support as a separate plug-in. When you have installed an FPI-compliant account manager on your handheld, Quik Budget will recognize it automatically. To see if it is working properly, start the account manager and then start Quik Budget. At the top of the main screen, there should now be two tabs. One says Wallet and the other has the name of the account manager. If there is just the tab that says Wallet then you probably have an older version of the account manager or they haven't added in the plug-in yet and you will need to get it from them as a separate file

When you have an account manager installed on your device and it is working with Quik Budget, any transaction created in Quik Budget will also be created in your account manager and the balances will be adjusted accordingly.

Note: With the exception of Accounts & Loans and PocketMoney 3.0, this is one way only. If you make any changes to the transaction from your account manager, the transaction will not be updated in Quik Budget.
