Version 1.1 fixed a bug that caused an error on computers where the Palm Desktop software was installed in the Program Files folder instead of C:\Palm.

When you install QuikInstall, it will ask you if you want to use QuikInstall as the default installer for PalmOS software. If QuikInstall does not seem to be doing anything, it could be that you did not say Yes. Saying Yes is the best solution and, in most cases, you will not need to run QuikInstall prior to installing PalmOS software. For programs that have an install program that automatically puts the file to be installed in the standard install tool, you will need to double-click on the QuikInstall icon prior to syncing to shut off all of the conduits.

If you say No during installation, you will need to double-click the QuikInstall icon before syncing each time you install files to your device.
